Your Epson L3256 printer is a reliable workhorse, but like all inkjet printers, it is built with internal safeguards. If your printer has suddenly stopped working and is flashing red lights, you are likely dealing with a waste ink pad counter overflow.

Before using the program, you should physically inspect or replace the waste ink pads. For the L3256, the pads are located under the print head assembly. Alternatively, install an external waste ink tank kit (a DIY mod where you drill a hole and route a tube to an external bottle). If you mod the printer, you can safely reset the counter forever.
